Quick Details
Combine our favorite Seward Tours!
We’ve teamed up with our sister company, Seward Wilderness Collective, to offer our two favorite Seward tours at a discount. The Adventure Package includes our two most popular trips: Aialik Glacier Day Trip with KAW and Alpine Trail Day Trip with SWC.
Highlights
- Explore Kenai Fjords National Park on a wildlife tour & kayak trip
- Hike from a remote beach to an alpine paradise
- Experience the highlights of fjord country, by sea and by land
Our Aialik Glacier Day Trip starts with a purposeful wildlife-viewing boat tour, which drops us off just a short paddle away from the face of Kenai Fjords National Park’s largest and most actively calving tidewater glacier, Aialik. We’ll have you back in time for a dinner in town, and we recommend a good night’s sleep before your second day of exploring.
The next day you’ll take a short water taxi ride to the remote Alpine Trail, which unfolds into an adventurous hike from coastal rainforest to alpine tundra. Your private hike includes a knowledgable guide and a focus on climate change, collective community action, and stewardship. This carefully crafted escape is sure to leave you feeling inspired and connected to this unique corner of Alaska.
Our booking minimum is 2 people, and our maximum is 6. Prices are PER PERSON and include discounts on both tours.

Our ideal two-day stay in Seward looks like this. Imagine, you arrive in Seward at your leisure and wander down to the water’s edge for views of Mt. Alice dressed in alpenglow before tucking in for a good night’s sleep. In the morning, meet your knowledgable kayak guide at our downtown location for a full day of adventure.
The Aialik Glacier Day Trip gives us the greatest chance for wildlife viewing, during a 2.5 hour water taxi ride around the Cape and into Aialik Bay, where we’re dropped off for 3-3.5 hours of exploring by kayak. We’ll paddle towards Aialik Glacier, where we’ll watch and listen for huge spires of ice plummeting into the sea. Bobbing at the water’s surface offers an intimate connection with this place and its enchanting but fragile ecosystems.
A return trip on the water taxi will have you back in town just in time for grabbing beer downtown or dinner at one of the many locally owned restaurants (ask your guide for local favorites!). You’ll be ready to turn in at your lodging (not included) for a restful night’s sleep.
On Day two, meet your Seward Wilderness Collective guide at 8:30 am to catch a quick water taxi out to the Alpine Trail, scouting for porpoises, seals, and otters on the ride south. A day of epic hiking follows, as you venture through moss-covered spruce forests and above alder-fringed meadows to the high alpine zone for unparalleled views of Resurrection Bay and the Resurrection Peninsula. Learn through stories of the changes we’re witnessing here and how we can look for them on our hike.
After two days discovering the hidden gems and top locals’ picks in Seward, you’ll be brimming with a new understanding of this place, inspired by the connections you’ve made, and empowered to engage with and care for the world around you.
